Building Strategies
The FOUNDATIONS for Professionals workshop, created by BCFHRS, is designed to strengthen professionals’ knowledge of children’s hearing differences/deafness and how they relate to their development. Research shows that children with hearing differences/deafness are at risk for social, emotional and academic difficulties. The Foundations for Professionals workshop aims to equip professionals with the knowledge and strategies needed to support development and learning in these areas.
