Our Victoria office opened in the Fall of 2016 to meet the needs of growing communities on Vancouver Island, and serves the Greater Victoria area. Families can receive individual therapy, participate in groups and engage with other families and professionals at this Centre. In Victoria, there are currently groups offered for all ages and communication methods, as well as field trips and special events designed to bring families together. A number of workshops that are offered at the Surrey location will also be available in-person and online through our Victoria facility. The staff in Victoria currently consists of a Speech-Language Pathologist, Program Assistant and itinerant visits from Outreach Consultants, Family Support Parents and Sign Language Consultants.
The same commitment to family-centred, choice-based, professional service exists at all of our facilities. Every family that is a client of BCFHRC is able to access the programs and services at our Surrey Centre at any time.
