The Surrey Early Speech and Language Program (SESLP) provides programs and services designed to maximize communication outcomes for children. The program serves children and their families who have speech and language challenges without hearing loss and/or deafness, and who are from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Services are provided in a safe and supportive environment with a family centered and evidence-based practice.
Programs and services offered currently include initial consultations, group sessions for both parents and families, formal speech and language assessments, home programs and/or visits, preschool visits and ongoing individual sessions.
