Making a difference when you choose to give to the BCFHRS

Thank you for considering the BC Family Hearing Resource Society for your charitable gift. Supporting your favourite charities can be a win-win scenario for you and BCFHRS. First of all, BCRHS receives much needed funding to continue to provide the vital services we make available to children who are Deaf and hard of hearing, and with speech and language challenges and their families.

Communication is essential to being human. Your donation helps us provide opportunities for speech, language and communication at the critical early intervention years. You will also receive double bonus of feeling good knowing you are helping others as well as personally benefiting from preferential tax treatment based on your donation.  You can make a difference!

There are many ways to get involved.  We provide opportunities for donors to support us through memberships, monthly and annual giving, gifts in-kind, special project support, special events including our annual walk-a-thon, capital giving, gifts of life insurance and investments, planned giving, in memoriums, and through volunteering.  Charitable income tax receipts are issued and donors are recognized in our annual rooftop light display and annual report (unless otherwise instructed).
